Shane and Taji Gibson
We are Shane and Taji Gibson — a family from Indiana, travelers at heart, and caretakers of meaningful experiences.
We travel as parents too — with two boys of our own — so safety, patience, and trust aren’t features to us; they’re non-negotiables.
We don’t claim to be Jamaican. We respect Jamaica deeply — its people, its culture, and the family roots that connect us to the island.
Taji’s mother was born and raised in Castleton, St. Mary, and returning there with our larger family reshaped how we understand what it means to truly belong in a place.
In 2019, we traveled back with six grandchildren. Our priority wasn’t sightseeing — it was trust. We needed dependable transportation that honored our family’s pace, safety, and comfort.
That’s when we met Wendell — a local driver whose care, consistency, and integrity transformed our stay. What began as a ride became a friendship.
And that friendship became Jamaica One Love Tours.

Wendell Stoddart brings nearly 40 years of transportation experience — not just driving, but caring for families on the
road.
Based in Ocho Rios, he knows Jamaica deeply: the roads, the culture, and the rhythms of island life.
Wendell’s approach is simple: safety, patience, respect, and genuine hospitality. He won’t rush you. He’ll keep your family
safe.
And he’ll help Jamaica feel like a place you can trust, not
just visit.
