When we traveled with Claudette back to her hometown of Castleton, and to see her God Mother, Ms. Mallett, it wasn’t
about seeing everything or following an itinerary. It was about moving slowly, feeling welcomed, and being cared for by someone who understood both the place and the people.
Wendell was our driver on that first trip. What stood out wasn’t just that he knew the roads — it was how he moved with patience, respect, and a deep sense of responsibility for our family. There was no rushing, no pressure, and no sense of being treated like a transaction.
That experience became the foundation for Jamaica One Love Tours.
