Meet Our Team
Shane and Taji Gibson
Shane and Taji love the sun, beaches, and markets of Jamaica. Shane and Taji's primary reason for visiting Jamaica was family.
Taji's mom was born and raised in Jamaica. In the mountains of Castleton, St. Mary. Claudette would wash clothes in the Wag River. And walk to Castleton Gardens. Visits to the ocean for Claudette were a rare treat.

As a child, Taji visited Mom's hometown. She slept on the floor of Mrs. Mallat's home. Mrs. Mallat was Claudette's God Mother, mentor, and award-winning teacher. In 2019, our entire family made the trip to Castleton. Claudette, her three children, spouses, and six grandkids.

That trip is when we met Wendell. Wendell was our personal guide for that trip. And for all trips since then. A trust and friendship forged.
​
And with that, the partnership of Jamaica One Love Tours was born.

My name is Wendell Stoddart and I have been involved in Tourism and Transportation for almost forty years. This is a job I have enjoyed and I have met so many wonderful folks from all over the world. This has allowed me to learn so much of the other cultures in our World as I share our Jamaican Culture that so many folks have come to love.
​
I live in Ocho Rios, one of five resort towns here in Jamaica , and if you ask me, It's the place to be. Ocho Rios is located in the center of the Island and so for me, It's easy access to whichever location our visitors wants to venture. I have been driving since 1975 and I have a very clean record. Safety and fun are our priority and all these years has equipped me with the know how to make this a reality for you all.
I also have very good knowledge of all the different attractions across our Island which is vital to accessing them in a time consuming manner. I am very polite, patient, courteous, punctual, and takes pride in my guests having a wonderful experience on every venture.

All my guests are treated with love and respect, and in terms of prices I am very reasonable and will never, ever take advantage of any guest at no time. I'm only here to assist in enhancing your experience and I take that seriously.
